Greetings all readers!
I hope everyone had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. To kick off the holiday season, Open Source Theater is proud to introduce the cast and production team of The Second Shepherd’s Play. Our first profile is of director and Open Source co-founder, Eileen Tull!
EILEEN TULL (Director) is a Chicago director and playwright with a passion for developing and producing new work. She is thrilled to see this play become alive after a year of development. She would like to thank the cast and crew, InnateVolution Theatre Productions, the Logan Square Preservation Society, and her father for lending out a small part of his Christmas collection. Eileen has directed with Dream Theatre, New Way Career Preparatory School, Triton College with the B.U.M.S. Project, and Village Players. She has assisted many talented directors with Theatre Seven of Chicago, Moving Stories Theatre, and InnateVolution. Her short ten minute play, Touching Van Gogh, was recently featured in 20% Theatre’s Snapshots Festival. Eileen is a co-founder of Open Source Theatre Project and member of the collective. She is the Casting Associate for Theatre Seven of Chicago. She has additionally been fortunate enough to work with the 2010 Chicago Fringe Festival, Inconceivable Theatre, Ouroboros Theatre, and 13Carat Productions.
Keep your eyes peeled for the rest of the cast and crew in the coming days.
